Today my friend at work brought in some leftovers for her and I for lunch, I LOVED it!!! I love this simple polish food, it's so incredibly tasty and easy to make to boot!!

The recipe is so very simple...

1 1lb. Pkg. Smoked Polish Sausage

1 Bag of Saurekraut

A few Tablespoons of Brown Sugar

Mashed Potatoes

Cut the polish sausage into slices, then brown in a frying pan.

Add the sauerkraut, no need to drain, toss with the sausage and then sprinkle on some brown sugar a little at a time, you can add less or more according to your tastes.  The brown sugar and the sourness of the sauerkraut is a perfect combination of sweet and sour, now make a batch of mashed potatoes with lots of butter and server this as the base of your fabulous meal...YUMMM!!
